Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death!!!

Posted on 2009.03.10 at 15:54
An exerpt from the famous "Give me liberty, or Give me Death" speach by Patrick Henry

Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.

If you cant see the relevance, then you have been living in a cave for the last few months!!!

If this moves you to take a stand against the Obama administration, please join up with your local tea parties here:  http://wesurroundthemusa.ning.com/

Final Thoughts Before Election Day

Posted on 2008.11.03 at 11:19
Current Mood: numb

It is indeed one of the most talked about and the most important election of our lifetime.  Tomorrow, we will decide the fate of our country.  I have to admit… it’s not looking good.  I really can’t understand the liberal hype that the media has shoved down the throats of the American people.  Although I have not fallen into the hype, I see many around me that have, and it is just like and addiction!  I have found some song lyrics that relate to this situation.  The real meaning of the lyrics is the voice of addiction speaking  to the individual.  Since this country has now become addicted to the ideals of socialism, I feel it is appropriate:

H
ere is the link to the song and the lyrics to follow:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrEP3RPgEao&feature=related

APC - Pet

Don't fret precious I'm here
Step away from the window
Go back to sleep

Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come
Counting bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums
Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble
Head down, go to sleep
To the rhythm of the war drums

Pay no mind what other voices say
They don't care about you
Like I do
Like I do
Safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils
See they don't give a fuck about you
Like I do

Just stay with me
Safe and ignorant
Go back to sleep
Go back to sleep

Lay your head down child
I won't let the boogeyman come
Count the bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drums
Pay no mind to the rabble
Pay no mind to the rabble
Head down, go to sleep
To the rhythm of the war drums

I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and all your demons
I'll be the one to protect you from
A will to survive and a voice of reason
I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and your choices son
One and the same I must isolate you
Isolate and save you from yourself

Swayin to the rhythm of the new world order and
Count the bodies like sheep
To the rhythm of the war drum
The boogeymen are coming
The boogeymen are coming
Keep your head down, go to sleep
To the rhythm of a war drum

Stay with me
Safe and ignorant
Just stay with me
Hold you and protect you from the other ones
The evil ones
Don't love you son
Go back to sleep

As you can see it’s a very powerful song and definitely illustrates the voice of addiction.  Like I was saying, the Liberal ideals are the addiction!  We as a country are sick of the policies of the Bush administration and have turned to the first glimmer of “hope” that has presented itself.  This is a BIG mistake!  If the Democrats gain full control of the country, it will never be the same again.  All of the ideals that this country was founded on will be lost!  I do not want a party leading this country that does not agree with or constitution!  I do not want a party leading this country that will take my hard earned money and give it to Joe Shmoe who is too lazy to get off his ass and get a job!  I do not want a party leading this country that will turn this country into just another European socialist society!  You are all victims of Hitleresque campaign tactics!  WAKE UP PEOPLE!  Our country depends on it!  It is unknown what tomorrow will bring… this however is my last plea as well as a major warning.  Please wake up and see the lies and deceit you have been fed.  Don’t just listen to the voices and go back to sleep, Wake up and help set this country in the right direction, not towards oblivion.

McCain, Pailin, and the Liberal Drones

Posted on 2008.09.04 at 16:08

As I sit here watching the RNC,  I would like to help those of you who are on the fence about this election with some comments.  For those of you who are already set in stone with Obama… You can either A:  Read this and maybe learn something… or B:  Crawl back into your hole, eat your tofu, and sulk in your own hatred of normal compassionate human beings.

I can't believe how you Liberals are attacking Palin for being a typical American mom!!!  Every American should be able to relate to Palin more than any of the heartless drones you consider good politicians.  Look at the Clintons for example...  have they ever had a typical American life?  Heck no!!!  Their marriage is strictly a nearly platonic political contract.  Don't you want someone running the country that can relate to the typical American?  Don't you want someone who is going to think about the American people rather than just go along with what the respective political party thinks?  Palin has more real political experience than Obama has...  and so what if her daughter is pregnant... You liberals are all heartless when it comes to killing babies but God forbid Palin's daughter should get knocked up... You act like bible beaters when it benefits you.  Oh... and now lets talk about what a drone Obama is!  Obama promises to help with the oil market by putting 1 million hybrids on the road... how does he plan on doing this?  Heck ya if he wants to give me one... but I sure as heck don't have the money to go out and buy one in the next several years.  Oh... and how about this... Obama and the other liberals will cause the downfall of our health system as we know it.  Sure.. anyone will be able to go see a doctor… but the quality of treatment will be drastically reduced.  You will not longer be able to see specialists in a timely fashion.  God forbid you need a transplant or get cancer!  You will die well before you receive the proper medical attention.  Not to mention how the crumbling health system will devastate the economy.  Does this sound like the "change"  you want?  One of the most disgusting things I have heard about Obama is his (and all the liberals) view ..ion.  Obama just blocked a bill from being passed that would protect babies that were born alive during a botched abortion.  Let me illustrate this a little more for you…  Say a woman decides on getting an abortion late in her term.  They give her drugs to induce her uterus into convulsions which literally shake the baby out.  The baby comes out and actually is still alive.  It could be crying and/or writhing in pain.  Without this bill, the doctors are allowed to leave this living, breathing, child to DIE!!!  Bet you won't hear that little bit of info about Obama on CNN!!!  There are two types of change... Good and bad... so, If you want to have a bad economy, bad health care, and a democratic drone in the white house... then by all means... vote for "Change," But if you want a President and VP that will stand up for the rights of the everyday American... you know what you have to do.  You can vote for someone who promises to change the world and gives you nothing or you can vote for someone who promises what is needed and delivers!

Phony politics and bad drivers

Posted on 2007.09.14 at 19:51
I have several issues that I would like to bring up in this blog… The first of these issues is not as much of a hot button as the other… but I still need to bitch about it. I am SICK of bad drivers out there on the road. People driving too slow… weaving… not using turn signals… stopping in the middle of intersections… the list could go on forever. I actually saw a whole line of traffic today where they were ALL on their cell phones!!! The worst part is the old fogie leading the line of traffic was not only on his cell phone but also was reading a magazine on his steering wheel! No wonder why he was going like 10mph! Stop driving like you are a bunch of grandmas or get out of my freakin way! I seriously almost get into a fight every time I drive into town… its ridiculous!

The second of the issues that I wanted to bitch about today is how inconsiderate and disrespectful these left-wing liberal natzi’s are being lately. The reason for boldness of these un-american activists is that the presidential candidates are in a sense feeding the beast. Don’t you people see? They are just letting you hear what you want to hear! Can’t you see were making a difference in Iraq? Can’t you see that you are disrespecting your president? Can’t you see you are disrespecting the men and women that fight for your freedom? Do you remember in 2002 when Hillary voted for the invasion of Iraq? Dont you recall when Bill and Hillary spoke out against Sadam and Al-Qeuda and told the world what dangers these terrorists were? Come on now! Do we really want these phony politicians running the country? The bottom line is we are in this war whether we like it or not. There is NOTHING you can do about it! Sure you can protest, starve yourself, hold anti-war marches… but all that does is hurt the men and women that give you that same right in the first place! Stop this anti-war bullshit and show your support for your loved-ones over there. Those of you that cant deal with this can move to Canada… there you can enjoy freedom from war and all the government issued healthcare you can muster. You are all Americans… so start acting like it!

An Inconvenient Blog

Posted on 2007.04.24 at 09:34

I know it has been a long time since I have blogged… so; I’m going to talk about what I always talk about… crazy hippie liberals…  So the new hot topic today is Sheryl Crow and her gang of tree huggers has issued statements about how we as Americans can help save trees.  The first of these brilliant ideas she came up with was that all Americans should limit themselves to one square sheet of toilet paper per sitting.  LOL Ya… I’d like to see anyone try that!  I really don’t think anyone will purposely walk around with a shitty ass for the sake of a few trees.  The second of these crazy ideas that she came up with was that napkins should be outlawed!  When I first heard this I thought to myself… “This cant be too bad… let’s see where she goes with this…” sure enough… this was her brilliant plan to replace napkins.  She has designed a line of clothing that will have removable sleeves so that when we need to wipe our mouth or nose we can just wipe it in our sleeves.  Come on people!  Wiping it in our sleeves?  Didn’t we get over that when we were 3?  See… people like Sheryl don’t know the true facts about things like trees and global warming.  A true fact about trees is that we are planting so many!   There are more trees now then there were at the beginning of the industrial revolution.  Oh but these trees (according to liberal activists) are considered  unnatural because they are planted where nature didn’t intend and therefore they are more of a danger then cutting down the trees… does that make any sense at all?  Ya it didn’t make much sense to me either!  They are crazy… what do you expect!  See that’s the problem with issues such as global warming and other environmental issues.  People in general don’t know all the facts!    Global warming for example… Did you know that a volcano when it erupts releases more CO2 then all humans have since the industrial revolution!  That’s something Gore doesn’t want people to know… I got it!!!  Let’s just plug up all the volcanoes!!!  That will solve the problem!  LOL!  I’m just trying to give everyone a sense of how crazy all these issues sound to me.  The bottom line is before you go and jump on the bandwagon on these hot-button issues.  Look at all the facts!  Then make your choice.  I know its hard to believe… but movie stars and politicians actually lie sometimes.  I think everyone, liberals and conservatives alike can agree that the statements from Sheryl sound completely nuts!  Now you can begin to see how all these statements about trees and global warming sound to me!  Complete and utter CRAZYNESS!!!

Seeing the world in Black and White

Posted on 2007.02.05 at 12:38

First of all… I would like to say that this blog in no way is meant to offend anyone!  Please don’t take any of this the wrong way…

Now that that is done… This month is Black History month.  It is a month in which we celebrate equality!  However, there have been some recent events that are still bringing race into the picture when I believe it is uncalled for!  Yesterday was the superbowl… Lovie Smith and the Bears vs. Tony Dungy and the Colts.  It was a great match up!  The big story however was the fact that they were both African American.  What does this have to do with the coaching skills?  Why does this situation need the aspect of race brought into it?  Why does it matter what color they are?  It isn’t that fact that they are African Americans that we should be excited about the game!  It’s the fact that they are two good coaches!  Isn’t the point of this month to celebrate the achievements in equality and not to look at everything in black and white?  Isn’t that what M.L.K. fought and died for?

Another example of this is the hiring of the new Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.  The hype made it sound like the fact that he was African American was the reason the Rooneys hired him!  NO NO NO!!!  It’s the fact that he will make a good coach (hopefully) that the Rooneys hired him!  I ask again… Why does color and race get involved in situations it shouldn’t?  What would have happened if Russ Grim was hired and the headline read:  Steelers Hire White Head Coach Russ Grim?  Seriously?  How would that have been taken?  Would you consider that a racist comment?  I would!  Now you see where I am coming from?  Stop making racial situations out of things that shouldn’t!  Come on folks!  We have enough to worry about with countries that hate us and want to kill us.  We are a united people in this great country.  This country was once called the melting pot.  Why?  Because it took in people from all over the world and united us under one concept… freedom!  Start acting like the united people that we are and stop the social boundaries which still form!  After all, that’s what this month is all about!

Hippies in our Nation's Capital

Posted on 2007.01.31 at 20:59

Most of you know by now that there was a recent Iraq War protest in DC this past weekend.  The protest itself I could care less about… It’s the attitude and disrespect of the people at the protest which really upsets me.  These anti-Americans thought it would prove a point to begin spitting on veterans that were present.  This definitely crossed the line… If you are going to protest a war… then do it peacefully… don’t disrespect a man or woman that fought for your freedom!  HOW DARE YOU!  These anti-war liberal hippies are really beginning to piss me off!  If you are going to be disrespectful to our country and our vets then you need to move to Canada… Not that Canada is a bad place, I just don’t want you unpatriotic bastards here so get the hell out!  (Heck… if Hillary gets the presidency… I might be moving to Canada… but that’s another story.) If you are protesting the war because you care about our troops then that is a good purpose and I respect that so in that case it is ok. I know most of the anti-war protests stem from the fact that the war does not seem like it has a purpose… but in fact it does.  Egypt has just reported that they are beginning a nuclear program.  This program is to defend themselves against “countries in the region.”  Hmmm wonder who that could be?  Iran and Iraq!  If that doest show what a threat these countries are to the rest of the world… then I don’t know what else is needed to show that this war needs to be finished!  Our troops will come home when the war is over… and we need to be here with open arms ready to thank them for all they have done.  We need to have parades and statues erected in their honor!  Those of you that want to SPIT on them when they get back can again… move to Canada or Mexico… because we don’t want you here!  How dare you disrespect the soldiers past and present that defend the freedom you enjoy today!  It’s the freedom that lets you protest the war; it’s the freedom that allows me to write this blog.  Do you know what would happen to us if we demonstrated these acts in other countries?  We would get shot and arrested!  Enjoy the freedoms you have!  Respect the soldiers past and present that keep those freedoms possible!  And most of all… stop acting like hippies and start acting like Americans!

My random thoughts for the week

Posted on 2007.01.29 at 16:13
Current Mood: quixotic

There are a few things that have been on my mind lately…

first off,

Why the hell does all these infomercials give away a free nose hair trimmer with the order?  Seriously!  Oooo look hunny!  I ordered the Turkey-o-matic and got a free nose hair trimmer!!!  Is our nose hair really getting that out of hand?  Do I seriously have a large enough jungle growing from my nostrils that I need a nose hair trimmer with every order of Diet trim pills?  It’s normal for then to double or triple the order for free… or give a related gift, but a nose hair trimmer?  I guess I just don’t get it…

And now for something completely different,

I am really glad winter is here now because I was SO sick of hearing the fact that Global warming was causing our mild winter.  The hell with Gore and his crazy notion of Global warming!  It doesn’t exist folks!  Sorry to burst your bubble…  What annoyed me the most was that the people complaining about it were blaming our mild winter on global warming while ignoring the weather elsewhere in the country.  Denver was under 6 feet of snow… Tucson AZ had about 2 inches of snow and a week or two of way below normal temps…  Texas had a huge crippling ice storm… Does that sound like Global warming to you?  Na… didn’t think so… Its funny, back in the 1970’s the global theory was that the world was going through what was called Global Cooling and the polar ice caps were going to get larger and the oceans would go dry.  Scientists were planning on using lasers to melt away the polar ice caps to keep the ocean level at a normal height.  Sound crazy?  Now you know how it sounds to me!  This was just as ridiculous an idea as Global warming…  I agree, things need to change to improve the health of the environment, but don’t use this preposterous idea of Global warming to make the point.

Yard Monstrosities

Posted on 2006.12.28 at 00:19
Current Mood: giddy

In the midst of the holiday season, it is customary to me and many of my friends to go around to various towns looking at the wide array of Christmas decorations.  This year I did just that… I had the pleasure of seeing some very lovely and tactfully done light displays in and around the Mon-vally, Monroeville and Wheeling!  However… there were many more tacky looking displays then there are usually.  The reason for this rive is tacky Christmas decorations probably stems from the different trend there is this year.  One thing about the decoration trends for this year was the overwhelming amount of these damn blow-up globes this year.  I’m sorry folks, but they are hideous looking, especially when in the midst of a yard that is barely big enough to fit it in!!!  In addition to these snow globe yard monstrosities… the explosion of blow-up statues has gotten WAY out of hand!   Every yard I drive past has a 8’ tall snowman or Santa on a motorcycle!  It’s ridiculous!  It wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t everywhere!  Some houses even have about 5 different ones in the front yard… looks like they are planning their own little winter carnival…  and even more annoying then the blow-up statues themselves are when they are not functioning!  What I mean by this is when you drive past these same houses during the day when they do not have the lights on, these yard monstrosities from the night before are little T1000 puddles in the front yard!  Talk about tacky!!!  Come on folks… Its all right to have one or two of these things if your yard is big enough… but when people with less then a quarter acre of yard has 7 of them… it… well… looks really dumb!  Now, not in anyway am I making fun of you, if you the reader has these… I just want my readers to take a look at their yards this Christmas week and see if the decorations are a little tacky this year.  The bottom line is, a crowded junked up yard does not look good at all… weather its Christmas yard monstrosities or junk cars… seriously folks, take a look at how tacky the yards are starting too look and try and be a little more tasteful next Christmas!  Please?   After all, nothing’s gonna piss off Santa more then getting all tangled up in tacky oversized yard decorations…

PETA's crying again...

Posted on 2006.12.21 at 11:24
Current Mood: annoyed

You may be curious to know what PETA’s been crying about lately… well here goes!  Pink the singer and PETA have teamed up and came out with a video recently explaining and showing the cruelty that is involved in the wool industry… as if sheering the poor sheep wasn’t cruel enough here in the states…. Australian farmers actually mutilate their sheep and then ship them off to get slaughtered!  OMG… booo hooo… Cry me a fucking river why don’t ya!  They urge consumers in the video to do their part in boycotting the wool industry… Like that is really going to do anything?  I agree it is sad what they are doing to them but what the fuck?  Boycotting the wool industry isn’t going to do shit!  If you PETA people want to see something done about this, complain to the governments!  Maybe they will do something about it from your whining… They come out with this video like we should praise them for the good that they are doing when in all actuality they aren’t doing anything.  This crap is still going on!  So all you PETA supporters go boycott your wool so you can sleep at night… The hell with PETA!  All they do is bitch and protest!  Quit your bitching and do something about the cruelty!  Now that I got that out of my system… I’m gonna go have a fuckin lamb-chop!

p.s. I had a burger yesterday and it was fucking awesome and I'm gonna go hunting the day after Christmas!!!!

... Damn hippies...

The Browns Doth Suck

December 5, 2006

Scott Paulsen

Some people think that the rivalry between our fair city, Pittsburgh, and the city to our north, Cleveland, is a recent situation brought about by the love of our two football teams, the Browns and the Steelers. After doing some research, I have found that the rivalry goes much deeper than football and has been evolving for a much longer period of time.

I recently came across a passage in one of Shakespeare's lesser-known plays, “Rooney the Second”. There's a speech in that play, a soliloquy, spoken by the hero, Cowher the Chin. He is speaking to the masses as they are gathered at the most holiest of shrines, the Church of the Immaculate Reception, at the close of Act II.

If you don't mind a little culture, I would like to read it to you.

And now, Cowher the Chin's soliloquy, from Act II of Rooney the Second, by the great William Shakespeare:

Lights, please?

Thank you.

“The Browns doth suck.

They suck a lot.

Suck they when cold.

They suck when hot.

Why they doth suck?

Nay, I know not.

But they doth suck;

They suck a lot.

The Browns doth blow

like winds on high.

Blow they in day

and they at night

do blow like hell

with all their might.

Down, late in games,

they will not fight.

For Browns do eat

what comes from dogs

upon the lawn

in small brown logs.

Eat Browns of it.

They daily do.

They dine on things

wiped from our shoes.

And that is why

the Browns do smell.

Smell they of poop.

Smell they like hell.

They bring this stench

down from their town.

Smell you and say,

“Hmmm. Must be the Browns!”

It's either they,

or septic tanks

doth have backed up.

Let's all give thanks

that we are not

from Cleveland town.

Our team is good.

They are not Browns.

Foretold, a tale,

was long ago

about the town

where losers grow

like leaves on trees

and flies on poop.

Smells it of floors

in chicken coops.

Cleveland it's called!

Home it of Browns!

Suck they the team,

As does the town.

The two, deserving

of company;

Each they doth blow.

Smell they of pee.

Wence Monday come,

sated will be

the black and gold

with victory.

For Browns doth suck.

They are a-holes.

We'll send post cards

from the Super Bowl.”

William Shakespeare, Act II, Rooney the Second, Cowher the Chin's soliloquy.

              Thank you.

              Lights, please?

              And a beer?

Crazy, how it, feels tonight.

You crush me, with the, things you do,
I do, for you, anything too oh.
Sitting, smoking, feeling high.
And in this, moment, ah, it feels so right.

Lovely lady, I am at your feet, oh, God I want you so badly.
And I wonder this could tomorrow be so wondrous as you there sleeping.

Lets go, drive til, the morning comes.
And watch the, sunrise, and fill our souls up.
Well drink some, wine til, we get drunk, yes...

Its crazy, Im thinking, just knowing that the world is round.
Im here Im dancing on the ground.
Am I right side up or upside down, and is this real, or am I dreaming?

Lovely lady, let me drink you, please, I wont spill a, drop no, I promise you.
Lying under this spell you cast on me.
Each moment the more, i, love, you. crush me, come on. oh, yes.

So my band played the other night at the re-election party for Ed Rendell… it was fun… we got allot of compliments… the only bad thing was dealing with the crazy liberal hippies all night… unlike you… we are not going to whine and bitch about it for the next 4 years. BOOO HOOO I’m going to put a Rick Santorum sticker on my car to protest his loss BOOO HOOO! Give me a freakin break… damn unpatriotic hippies! anyway…

The subject I really wanted to write about today is about my girlfriend… its only been three weeks since we started dating, and she has turned my world upsidedown! I have never been so comfortable around anyone so quickly. She is so supportive and caring! She even combed the depths of democratic hippiedom with me the other night for the gig! LOL! I cant get over how close we are already. It’s like we’ve known each other for months… maybe even years! I am so happy right now it’s hard to describe with words! I am truly excited about this one! Things are definitely happening and I am loving it!

Wow! Let me just say these past few weeks has been an emotional rollercoaster. The death of Noah has come to a shock for all of us. I thought the memorial service was going to provide some type of closure… but it didn’t and I still cant believe it! It was great to meet his parents and friends. I hope we helped with the healing process for them… its gonna be long and hard, but they are a strong family, so keep them in your prayers. I had fun hanging out with all my Jesuit girls and Eric… even with the circumstances… we still had a good time together. I was a little disappointed that my ex didn’t stay for Noah’s memorial service. I know things would have been weird, but the situation was way above the crap between us. I feel that a little shallow of her to not come, but whatever…

On the brighter side of things… so ya… there is this girl… and she makes me smile… ALLOT! I think about her all the time and the feeling is mutual. I met her at a poster conference… and things just clicked! So… knock on wood… Things are definitely starting to happen :-D

October needs to just go away!

I cannot stress on how much I hate this month! The month of October has brought nothing but heartache for the last several years and this year isn’t much different. This past Saturday October 21, 2006, a good friend named Noah died in a Motorcycle accident. This blog is in memory of the two October deaths that have changed my life. First of all, Noah… I knew Noah from the group of girls that I hung out with in college. He was a great guy and a great friend. We would always had a blast when he would come up and visit. Noah, May the angels greet you with open arms. The second person I would like to dedicate this blog too is the late Dr. John Doctor. On October 25th 2005, Dr. John Doctor passed away suddenly. He was the head of the Biology Department at Duquesne as well as a great professor and friend. This Wednesday marks the one year anniversary of his death. He is greatly missed by all. May he rest in peace.
So what does this tell us? What lessons can we learn from these people? Live life too the fullest! Tell your friends and family that you love them every day and treat every day as if it were your last! Life is too short to not love...

RIP Noah
RIP Dr. Doctor

Well, It had been 5 years since the 9/11 tragedy… and still, my heart hurts when I think about it. How come it seems we only remember the bad days so vividly that you feel like you were there again? I remember I woke up too some unusual noise in the hall of my dorm. It wasn’t unusual to hear commotion during the evening but in the morning on a school day... this was odd. I walk outside to see what was the problem. When a buddy of mine tells me that a plane had crashed into a building in NYC. I was worried about it so I got ready and turn on the TV just in time to see the second plane slam into the building. The next is a little blurry cause we were all scrambling around getting ready and trying to find answers. We decided to go to the cafeteria just to see if everyone was ok. I remember vividly walking into the cafeteria and turning around to see the first tower collapse live on TV. I was seriously in shock… again it’s a little blurry… but we were glued to the TV when the Second building fell. Everyone was running around trying to find if family members were ok. I called my parents to make sure they were ok. Classes were canceled because it just didn’t seem important in retrospect to the whole situation. It was the quietest I had ever seen campus. Not that there weren’t allot of people around, just that nobody was speaking. There was a candle light vigil that was threw together that night for everyone… It was truly amazing how many people showed up! I don’t think I ever prayed so hard in my life. It was truly a day of prayer for me and the rest of campus.
What have we learned from the past 5 years? How come it takes a tragedy like this to pull everyone together and realize that there is good left in this country? I know I have learned to find good in every situation and do everything you can to help someone in need. I feel this made me a better person. Remember to keep 9/11 in your prayers this day!

The feelings I hold deep inside

It seems to me you are hiding from your feelings

All the things we’ve shared

Come rushing back inside my mind.

It strikes the heart like a dagger

Piercing, bleeding, and broken

When you cant have the girl of your dreams

Days go by and you’re on my mind

Weeks go by and I wish you were mine

Months go by and you still deny

The feelings you hold deep inside.

It seems to me you want to be free

Flying through life without a care

Free from all the troubles relationships can bring

It strikes the heart that you feel this way

With all the stresses that life can bring,

you are the reason I get up in the morning

Days go by and you’re on my mind

Weeks go by and I wish you were mine

Months go by and you still deny

The feelings you hold deep inside.

It seems to me you are content

Fine with the friendship between us

Well I’m not going down without a fight

I can be the man of your dreams

You are scared to see that

I can be something to look forward too

You need to let me in

I want to be your first thought in the morning

And the last thought when you sleep

You and me

Me and you

Such a crazy situation

Days go by and you’re on my mind

Weeks go by and I wish you were mine

Months go by and you still deny

The feelings you hold deep inside

Those of you that keep up with the news have probably heard about the recent death of the beloved crazy Croc Hunter… Steve Irwin.  This came as some very sad news, However It also came as no surprise that He died at such a young age because of the many crazy and dangerous stunts he has done in years past. The surprise came when I heard on how he died…  He was stung by a large Sting-Ray in the Chest!  I couldn’t believe it! This was not the way I expected the great Croc hunter to meet his demise!  I at least thought he would loose a few limbs from Croc attacks first before he died, or go down with a fight with some large venomous snakes… but a Sting-Ray?  I guess you could say it was seriously a freak accident!  Any other place on his body he would have been fine… but the fact that it stung him in the chest… I mean come on!  I was swimming with Sting-Rays and Sharks in the Bahamas!  I never thought that the Sting-Ray could take from us the Great Croc Hunter!  May he Rest in Peace!
